HOPE IN THE HANDWRITING

The benefit event for Helpmate entitled, Hope in the Handwriting was a success! So many supporters attended the event which consisted of a silent auction, live music by Jeff Santiago, and a hope notes display for guests to write words of encouragement to women facing domestic violence. The hope notes will be given to women who use the services of Helpmate.

Asheville's renowned chef, Laurey Masterson provided the delicious treats at her location, Laurey's Catering. Exquisite Events and Consulting provided consulting services to the event organizer, Liz Miller. For additional photos please visit Irene Lucia Lopez De Carrizosa's post on facebook.

HOT PINK & ORANGE at LAKE LURE

Hot pink and orange made a striking color palate at Mary and Darren's wedding at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn. They also incorporated Love Birds in their design. Take a peek. Photos were provided by Meg Buckingham at MAB Photography.

ASHEVILLE WEDDING GOWN

During one of our wedding and event planning classes Wedding Inspirations provided a gorgeous gown for the event. The broach affixed to the gown increased the glam factor exponentially. Cami Calnan Photography took photos during the classes and we thank her for her continued support. Our next wedding and event planning classes begin September 2010 at Blue Ridge Community College.
